In 2019, Inobits, one of the world’s leading Microsoft consulting and training companies,
merged with ConcurTec to become our Professional Services team. Inobits was founded in
2019 as a specialised Microsoft consulting and training team. Today, our Professional

Project management office

The ConcurTec Project Management Office (PMO) is committed to applying a comprehensive project governance framework to ensure the success of our projects. We follow the PRINCE2 project management methodology, which enables us to divide projects into manageable stages and deliver them effectively. Our team consists of certified PRINCE2 Practitioners, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioners, and PMI-ACP Agile Communications Practitioners, demonstrating our expertise in project management.

Since we work with a diverse range of clients, each with their own project governance practices, our PMO strives to align with their approaches while providing valuable input to ensure governance goals are achieved. Our primary focus lies in managing Microsoft PaaS and IaaS projects, as well as data centre projects. These projects often involve transitions, such as Azure migration projects, O365 implementation projects (including MFA, Teams, Mail, MIM, etc.), Advanced Threat Analytics, and mail migrations. As managed services are a key offering at ConcurTec, our PMO frequently handles transition projects to smoothly transition our services into support and operations. HYPER V

Microsoft’s virtual machine capability. Introduced in Windows Server 2008, it enables multiple instances of Windows, Linux and other operating systems to run simultaneously. It uses the paravirtualsation method, which requires the operating system be modified to run as a virtual machine. As server virtualisation becomes more important to businesses as a cost-saving and security solution, and as Hyper-V becomes a major player in the virtualisation space.

Hypervisor technology is software on which multiple virtual machines can run, with the hypervisor layer controlling the hardware and allocating resources to each VM operating system. Hyper-V is the virtualisation platform that is included in Microsoft Windows Server.
